If you want to continue your studies after receiving a bachelor’s degree, you can enter the National Technical University of Ukraine “Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” for the 1st year of the master’s degree. You will acquire the next level of higher education – master’s level. Studying at this educational level lasts 1 year 4 months or 1 year 9 months, depending on the chosen study program — educational-professional or educational-scientific. The educational and professional training program is the preparation of a master’s in a certain field of knowledge for further professional work, and the educational and scientific training program is designed for the further scientific work of a master’s degree graduate. For state-ordered admission, you need to pass a professional entrance test, and for individuals and legal entities, you need to submit a motivation letter for consideration. Programs of professional entrance tests are published below. Did you decide to change your major after receiving your bachelor’s degree? There is no need to take an additional entrance test this year. But it is necessary to pass the entrance professional test. Documents for admission to the master’s degree are submitted exclusively electronically. You can submit up to 5 applications by state order, the number of applications for the funds of individuals and/or legal entities is a maximum of 20. To submit documents, you need to register an electronic account from July 1. Professional entrance exams to KPI named after Igor Sikorsky will be held from July 17 to July 28 inclusive. Applications can be submitted from July 31 to August 21 inclusive. The work schedule of the certification commission and the schedule of entrance exams can be found on the website of the faculty or institute of your choice.
This year, entrants who plan to obtain a master’s degree at KPI named after Igor Sikorskyi, must provide a letter of motivation for admission to the university when submitting electronic applications. What it is? A letter of motivation is written information in an arbitrary form about your interest in joining KPI named after Igor Sikorsky and the corresponding expectations, achievements in education and other activities, own strengths and weaknesses. To enter the master’s program under the state order, it is necessary to complete:
- Unified Entrance Exam (Foreign + Test of general academic competence)
- Professional entrance test
- Letter of motivation

ЄВІ1 – EVI foreign language score (from 100 to 200 points), ЄВІ2 – assessment of EVI from ТZNK (from 100 to 200 points), Ф – assessment of professional entrance test (from 100 to 200 points), К1/К2/К3 – coefficients of influence of these points.
