He graduated in 1971 Kyiv Polytechnic Institute “Machines and apparatus of chemical production.” The Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1971, Deputy Director of Research (1996), head of unsteady heat transfer in the drying process (1988). Honorary Professor of the Kazakh University of Engineering and Technology, International Academy of Refrigeration. A well-known scientist in the field of thermal power, heat and mass transfer thermal processes and energy-saving technologies. Author of over 365 scientific publications, including 5 monographs, 90 inventions and patents. He was awarded the titles of “Inventor of the USSR” and “Best Inventor of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.” Winner of the USSR State Prize in Science and Technology (1984), winner of the Presidents of the National Academies of Sciences of Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova (2000), State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology (2006), winner of the National Academy of Sciences Ukraine. VI Tolubinskoho (2007). He was awarded a gold medal ENEA USSR (1986), Diploma of the Presidium of the NAS of Ukraine (1997), Medal “Award of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine” for professional achievements (2007).
