Preparatory courses
Based on the training results at the NMT preparatory courses, students receive certificates that provide up to +10 points to the applicant’s entrance rating for specialties that enjoy special support from the state (Appendix 6 to the Admission Rules)!

THE INSTITUTE FOR MONITORING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION OF NTU “KPI” (Ihor Sikorsky KPI) ANNOUNCES RECRUITMENT OF STUDENTS FOR PREPARATORY COURSES for the 2023-2024 academic year (LICENSE OF MES OF UKRAINE: Series AE No. 527265 dated 09.09.2014 )

Preparatory courses of KPI named after Igor Sikorsky are traditionally considered one of the best in Ukraine. This is primarily facilitated by the university management’s constant attention and role given to preparatory courses. Over the past twenty years, preparatory courses have been and remain the main source of replenishment of the university’s student ranks with the most prepared, talented, and gifted young people.
During this time, about 65,000 people graduated from the preparatory courses, referred to by the students as the zero course of the university. The additional year spent by the students in the university, getting to know its glorious history and traditions, communicating with leading scientists and teachers, invaluable enriched their life experience and helped them in the future to adapt to the level of requirements of faculties and institutes, which at KPI named after Igor Sikorsky is traditionally tall. Acquired and systematized knowledge of fundamental disciplines enabled the vast majority of students to become better university students in the future.
Among the students of preparatory courses, thorough professional orientation work is constantly conducted, which allows them to make an informed decision when choosing their future profession. Departments, faculties, institutes, and scientific units of the university, as well as representatives of domestic and foreign leading companies, organizations, institutions, and enterprises, are involved in this work.
Throughout the years, the search and selection of talented young students for further study at the University of the Russian Academy of Sciences of the KPI named after Igor Sikorsky is conducted in close cooperation with leading lyceums, gymnasiums, schools of the city of Kyiv and regions of Ukraine.

1. FORMS OF EDUCATION (for 11th-grade students and graduates of technical schools, colleges, etc.)
2. EXTERNATE (every Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) is a form of distance learning that provides a flexible combination of face-to-face and extramural forms and provides an opportunity for training regardless of the student’s place of residence.
Tuition fee – UAH 18,120/year for 4 subjects (Ukrainian language and literature, Mathematics, English language/Physics, History of Ukraine)
