Engineering Week «KPISchool» at FAIEE: Journey into the world of innovation!
On October 30, the Faculty of Automation, Industrial Engineering and Ecology (FAIEE) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute hosted an exciting career guidance event as part of the Engineering Week «KPISchool»!
We were pleased to welcome about 50 applicants from grades 8-11 who plunged into the world of engineering technologies and discoveries!
What awaited our future engineers?
Master classes:
3D industrial design and 3D printing: From idea to finished product!
Fundamentals of IoT and robotics: Creating smart systems.
Environmental monitoring: Taking care of the ecology of the future.
Laboratory tours: Applicants visited the laboratories of building 19 (206, 207/1, 207/2, 208, 311-19, 314, 510-19) and specialized chemical laboratories of building 4 (“Environmental monitoring”, “Technologies and modification of biopolymers”), where they saw how theory turns into practice.
Introduction to the “Technical workshop” circle: A space for implementing your own engineering projects!
The event was held thanks to the coordinated work of the faculty’s departments’ teachers, as well as the active support of the faculty’s student body.

The faculty trains highly qualified specialists in the field of mechanical engineering, resource conservation, ecology, and computer-integrated technologies. Our graduates can design, research, and operate technological processes, equipment, and control systems at chemical, oil refining, pulp and paper industries, building materials enterprises, and environmental protection institutions.
FAIEE graduates successfully work as project development managers and leading specialists in the operation of technological processes, equipment, automated control systems, and software at enterprises of various forms of ownership!
