For two eventful days, students of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute from the Faculty of Automation, Industrial Engineering, and Ecology had a unique opportunity to visit the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill as part of study visits, which became a real “open day” to the industrial world.
The formation of a highly qualified specialist is impossible without combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience. That is why Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute actively supports initiatives that allow our students to immerse themselves in real production processes, communicate with experienced engineers, and see with their own eyes how a modern enterprise works.

Environmentalists, mechanical engineers, automation specialists, and mechanics had the opportunity to get acquainted with all stages of production at the KCPM. During the tour, the plant’s specialists not only shared their knowledge about the specifics of the paper industry but also answered students’ questions, contributing to a deeper understanding of the industry.
We are grateful to Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill for its openness, professionalism, and willingness to be a reliable, practical base for our students. We believe that this experience will be an important step on the path of professional development for each participant of the visit.
