Excursion to the Department of MACOI ECF
Yesterday, our Department of Machines and Apparatus for Chemical and Oil Refining Industries (MACOI) of the ECF was visited by curious and inspired students — members of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (SAS)!
We organized a tour of the department’s laboratories for them. The students had the opportunity to see our equipment, learn how it works, and witness with their own eyes the processes that are usually only described in textbooks. Of particular interest was the demonstration of the extruder, a technique widely used in the food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
Our teachers were happy to share their knowledge and answer questions.
Communication with scientists and live immersion in the world of engineering and technology – all this presents a great opportunity for children not only to broaden their horizons but also to consider their future profession.
