At the meeting of the Department of IAHS, a report by graduate student Vladyslav Viktorovych Denysiuk on the topic “The process of cascade extrusion of polymer filaments” was presented.

The purpose of the research is to scientifically substantiate the process of polymer processing using a cascade extrusion scheme and develop resource- and energy-efficient extrusion equipment for obtaining high-quality polymer filaments.
The object of the research is the process of obtaining polymer filaments using the designed extrusion equipment.
The subject of the research is the design factors that determine energy efficiency, feed uniformity, and environmental suitability of cascade extrusion equipment when working with polymer melts, including secondary and composite raw materials.
