Postgraduate student Semenenko D. S. presented the results of his dissertation on the topic: “Hydrodynamics in fluidized bed devices during seed coating.” Scientific supervisor – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Kornienko Ya. M.
The goal is to increase the efficiency of the seed coating process by using the inhomogeneous fluidization mode and developing a methodology for calculating industrial devices.
Main tasks:
Formation of a physical model of seed coating and substantiation of the interaction of the coolant with particles in a heterogeneous fluidized layer.
Selection of a mathematical model of the interaction of seed material and gas.
Development of a methodology for experimental studies of hydrodynamic regimes and requirements for the design of a coating machine.
Substantiation of a methodology for studying the kinetics of the coating process.
Formation of structural and technological principles for designing an industrial coating machine and a methodology for calculating it.
